Pro Tips
1. Tell It to Search
"Always search the web for current data. Don't rely on training data."
2. Request Citations
"Include source URLs for any data you reference."
3. Use Markdown Tables
Gemini handles tables well. Define your format in instructions.
4. Set a Persona
"Professional but approachable. Concise. Use bullet points."
Troubleshooting
Gem doesn't search the web: Add explicit instruction to search.
Gem forgets instructions: Keep under 2000 characters, put important rules first.
Sharing doesn't work: May require Gemini Advanced in your region.
